A blog documenting the second year of my FdA Fashion course at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth in which I chose to focus on the promotional aspect of the fashion industry.

Photo Shoot.

As I mentioned previously I'm really happy with the photo shoot I did the other day. Although the shoot was all pretty amateur (a DIY studio, an amateur photographer and myself as a model - amateur!) I think the photos look really good and effective. I was aware the DIY element of the photo shoot was a risk however I would never have contemplated it if I didn't have faith that I could pull it off. I really enjoyed the whole experience and being creative with the lighting, the props, the poses and the style/outfits. I was aware I was already going to manipulate the photos to super impose my prints onto the clothes which meant I would probably be able to alter/fix any lighting issues etc.

I've been manipulating the photos to superimpose my prints onto the garments and adjust the original photo to achieve the style/result I'm after. The proceedure is rather time consuming however I'm really pleased with the resutls. Below are a couple of examples.
